We aim to expand the ‘Eyes in the Forest’ by creating the twin sibling, ‘Ears in the Forest’ project. So far, we have not yet confirmed the presence of a range of endemic species, including primates. With acoustic devices, we will be able to confirm and monitor birds, primates, bats and even insects. With the identification of the species present, we can focus and develop tailored conservation programmes that are species-specific. For this work to happen, we are securing funding through grants.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

We are actively cataloguing the native trees in our land. This information is paramount to understand the ecosystem as it allows to see patterns and identifying trees that are key in animal’s diets.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Not just mapping the trees, we are also collecting the seeds. The seeds will be stored, and also planted. The saplings will be deployed to reforest the surrounding defragmented areas.\u00a0<\/p>\n
